Client - Pixar Animation Studios

Located above the historic Water Street in Vancouver’s Gastown, this project takes conceptual inspiration from the industrial heritage of converging rail lines transferring goods and services to and from the busy Port of Vancouver.

We imagined a roof terrace where weathering steel planters create spaces that invite casual lunch meetings under the shade of dynamic sail like structures.  Lanterns light the atmospheric night sky and the ghosts of Vancouver’s past  get to know  the fantastical characters from the future dreamed up inside.
