Three Storey Mass Timber Industrial facility in Squamish, BC, with a sedum green roof and deck that looks towards the Stawamus Chief and surrounding mountains.
The landscape design for this light industrial building takes inspiration from the broader Squamish river estuary. Pioneering tree species are chosen for their columnar nature contrasting the broad swathes of flat landscape flanked by steep mountains and forest. Fall colour juxtaposes the fir, spruce and hemlock while scented herbaceous shrubs definine the entry and provide habitat for pollinators.
