PROFILE


Julian Pattison is an award winning Landscape Architect with over 10 years of experience in private practice.  Julian is a Member of the British Columbia Society of Landscape Architects.  His work has been published by Institut d'Arquitectura Avancara de Catalunya (IAAC), Self-Sufficient Housing, The Architectural Review, The Architect's Journal & Landscape Design UK.


Following education at Edinburgh College of Art / Heriot Watt University and The University of Greenwich, Julian spent ten years working in private practice in London, UK.  WORKING WITH internationally recognised Landscape design and Architectural FIRMS, Julian was given the opportunity to engage in a diverse range of projects.  Initial work encompassed innovative detail solutions for Landmark sustainable schools thRough to project management, distinctive concept design and the ultimate realiSation of ground breaking multi-million dollar projects throughout the UK and the Middle East.


Since 2007 Julian has been a Senior Designer with Eckford Associates in Vancouver.  He has worKED ON VARIOUS PROJECTS FROM CONTEMPORARY BESPOKE RESIDENTIAL HOUSING TO PLANNING AND DESIGN FOR RESORT DEVELOPMENTS THROUGHOUT THE PROVINCE.


IN ADDITION, Julian ALSO WORKED AT UBC, WHERE HE Held the position of Adjuct Professor of Landscape Architecture, HE CONTINUES TO BE A VISITING critIC FOR THE GRADUATE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE PROGRAM.
